VISA REQUIREMENTS

Visa applicants please take note:

1. Due to Federal Government's Directives, Administrative Charges for Visa Application is hereby abolished with immediate effect.

 

2. Henceforth visa applicants are no longer required to pay for administrative charges.

Missions are under no obligation to consider applications from residents of other countries that do not have permanent residence in the mission’s host country and may simply refer applicants to the missions in their countries of residence.
 
1. Do I need a visa to enter Nigeria?
Israeli Citizens
An Israeli citizen, travelling on an Israeli passport, requires a visa in respect of tourists and business visits.
 
Palestinian Authority:
Palestinian citizens traveling on a Palestinian Authority passport do require a visa for tourist and business visits.
Palestinian citizens must apply through the Nigerian Embassy in Egypt.
 
If you travel on a laissez-passer, you require a visa.

HOW TO ISSUE A VISA?
1. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF YOUR VISIT?
  • Check which type of entry you require from the ones presented below.
  • Each entry has different requirements, make sure you are entitled to apply for that visa and that you can provide all listed documents.
2.PREPARE THE DOCUMENTS.
Applicants for Multiple/STR visas (after 3 entries to Nigeria)must be pre-approved in person at the Embassy prior to payment.
  • Once you have all of the required documents ready, you can visit the Consular section in our Embassy during the stated working hours with no need to schedule an appointment.
  • Only the applicant can apply for the visa.
  • The applicants must bring an extra copy for each document presented.
  • THE EMBASSY WON'T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRINTING/PHOTOCOPYING ANY DOCUMENT. 
3.PAYMENT 
NOTE:Applicants for Multiple/STR visas must be pre-approved in person at the Embassy                   prior to payment.
  • The visa charges must be paid at the bank as presented in our Consular fees section before applying for the visa in our Embassy.
  • All transactions must be made directly to the bank via teller (online transfers will not be admitted).
  • Please make sure to keep the bank payment certificates , only original certificates directly from the bank will be accepted
4. HOW LONG THE VISA PROCESS TAKES?
  • Issuing a visa takes 3 working days, in some cases it may take longer to review the visa application.
5.COLLECTION OF YOUR VISA.
  • Please consult the consular assistant regarding this matter and note the collection days and hours as stated in our working hours.
  • You must present a valid Identification document in order to collect your passport, no   exeptions will be made.
  • If you want someone else to collect your passport, you must ensure him with a formal authorization letter, stating your and the persons identification details.
  • Failure to present all documents and their respective photocopies may cause a delay in the consideration of an application and may result in a refusal.
  • ALL TRANSLATED DOCUMENTS MUST BE NOTARIZED
TYPES OF VISAS REQUIREMENTS
TOURIST VISA 1.  Original and copy of Letter of invitation from a resident of Nigerian with evidence of Residence Permit.
2. Letter of Introduction from Employer in Israel.
3. Hotel Reservation (in place of the above) and a confirmed return ticket.
4. Evidence of sufficient funds.
4.  One completed visa form (from our website).
5. Two recent passport pictures.

BUSINESS VISA



Validity of stay is 90 days (not extendable)

Caution: Note that this visa is not valid for employment.

Timeline: 3 working days from receipt of application.

1. Original and copy- Letter of invitation from a company in Nigeria.
2. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Directors, of the inviting company.
3. Letter of introduction by applicant's employers in Israel. The letter should state:
- Whether applicant is an employee or consultant to the company, etc.
- Applicant's position/designation in the company
- The company the applicant intends to visit in Nigeria
- The specific reason for the visit (installation work, training purposes, exhibition, etc)
- Proposed duration of visit
- Who takes immigrate responsibility on applicant's behalf
- The letter should be on the company's original letter head paper and duly signed by the appropriate authority, showing the name, position/designation.
4.  One completed visa form (from our website).
5. Two recent passport pictures.
6. Passport valid for at least six months with at least two blank visa pages for endorsement.
7. Return ticket.
8. Evidence of sufficient funds.
9. Evidence of Hotel Reservation/host address in Nigeria.
10. Copy of Israeli Identity Card.
11. Payment: 475 NIS into account No. 223702/93 , Bank Leumi Branch 803, Tel-Aviv.
12. Certificate of payment from the Bank.
MULTIPLE-ENTRY VISA
 
Must be pre-approved by the Embassy

1. Original and copy- Letter of invitation from a company in Nigeria.
2. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Directors, of the inviting company.
3. Letter of introduction by applicant's employers in Israel. The letter should state:
- Whether applicant is an employee or consultant to the company, etc.
- Applicant's position/designation in the company
- The company the applicant intends to visit in Nigeria
- The specific reason for the visit (installation work, training purposes, exhibition, etc)
- Proposed duration of visit
- Who takes immigrate responsibility on applicant's behalf
- The letter should be on the company's original letter head paper and duly signed by the appropriate authority, showing the name, position/designation
4.  One completed visa form (from our website).
5. Two recent passport pictures.
6.  Valid passport
7. Copy of Israeli Identity Card.
8. Evidence of frequent travel during the year.
9. Payment: 725 NIS into account No. 223702/93, Bank Leumi Branch 803, Tel-Aviv.
10. Certificate of payment from the Bank.
S.T.R VISA
1.  A letter of appointment from the company offering the employment
2. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Directors, of the inviting company.
3.  A duly signed Employment Acceptance letter by the applicant
4.  Company's expatriate quota showing the position to be occupied
5.  Applicant's Curriculum Vitae (Resume)
6.  Applicant's Educational Certificate (translated where necessary)
7. One completed visa form (IMM form) with a recent passport photo
8.  Items  should be submitted in duplicate copies (i.e. 2 sets)
9.  Valid passport with minimum of six months validity.
10. Payment: 525 NIS into account No. 223702/93 , Bank Leumi Branch 803, Tel-Aviv.
11. Certificate of payment from the Bank.
S. T. R. VISA FOR/SPOUSE/FAMILY
1.  A completed visa form (IMM Form)
2. Two recent passport photos.
3.  Copy of marriage certificate (for wife) - translated where necessary
4.  Copy of Birth certificate (for child)
5.  Valid passport and ID.
6. Payment: 525 NIS into account No. 223702/93 , Bank Leumi Branch 803, Tel-Aviv.
7. Certificate of payment from the Bank.
TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT (TWP)
1.  Letter of appointment from the company offering the employment.
2.  One completed visa form.
3. Two  recent passport photograph.
3.  Valid passport
4.  TWP expatriate quota showing approval.
5. A duly signed employment acceptance letter by the applicant.
6. Confirmed airline return ticket.
7. Acceptance of IR (immigration responsibility by inviting organizations or individual.
8. Obtainable only from the office of the Comptroller General of Immigration in the Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters, Abuja.
9. Payment: 525 NIS into account No. 223702/93 , Bank Leumi Branch 803, Tel-Aviv.
10. Certificate of payment from the Bank.
DIPLOMATIC VISA
1.  Letter from the Israeli foreign Ministry or the Relevant Diplomatic Mission
2.  One completed visa form (IMM Form) with 2 passport photo
3.  Valid Diplomatic passport
4.  Gratis 
 RE-ENTRY VISA
1.  Photocopy of Residence Permit Valid for at least three months.
2.  One completed visa form (IMM form).
3. Two passport photos.
4. Certificate of payment from the Bank.
